CTS is very active in the community and closely tied to the non-profit organization, “Pathways to Children”. Pathways was created in 2004 after a decision to combine CTS’s vast international expertise, travel industry experience with a passion for helping orphaned, vulnerable children in third world countries.
Pathways to Children trips are designed for busy professionals, dedicated individuals and corporations who want to make the world a better place. Pathway projects are intended to help poverty stricken children, youth and their families advance their education, health care and basic survival needs.
Pathways to Children currently has three ongoing projects: (1) developing a slum school in Calcutta, India into a model slum school she will take to other areas; (2) building an orphanage in Kerala, India; and (3) helping an orphanage in Uganda become self-sustainable by teaching the children farming practices and how to care for each other.
